Fourth Post Assignment

A character that reminds me of Huck Finn is Scout from To Kill a Mockingbird. Huck an adolescent who questions his own beliefs about equality due to societies' belief. Likewise Scout questions her father, Atticus on societies belief. She questioned why the community would accuse a man when the court clearly knew he was innocent and unable to commit the crime. For they are both fighting the view of society and themselves. In addition they are both youthful characters who live in a society where racism is present in every aspect of their life. Nevertheless they both fight for the equality and even with societies' disagreement. In addition they both come to a realization that although people are different they should be respect. In conclusion 1) Huck and Scout are youthful characters who live in a society where racism runs rampant, 2) have antagonists that effect/question their views, and 3) both come to realize about racism (Huck - his life is equal to a black man) (Scout - although people appear different the reality is they aren't and shouldn't be treated differently).
